Intership at the UN - 2014 - 6 to 12 months

Since the creation of the Heart’s Home’s office in Geneva in 2005 (date at which the Association was granted its consultative status with the ECOSOC), the Association has welcomed numerous interns to represent Heart’s Home in the various relevant fields of activity. The intern’s mission is to report to the United Nations’ institutions as well as to other NGOs, our volunteers’ experiences on the field.

The office also helps with the promotion of the association’s work in Switzerland by organising broadcasting and fundraising events, in coordination with all Heart’s Home’s offices worldwide.

Interns therefore take on various missions, founded on the experience that Heart’s Home wishes to share : the defence of people’s dignity and the promotion of gratuity in relationships.

An intern’s mission at Heart’s Home contains various aspects : United Nations’ related work, office work, broadcasting and communication and life within a Heart’s Home’s community in Geneva in order to truly grasp the experience of our volunteers working in the field and to deepen, on a daily basis, one’s understanding of the meaning of our charity.
